TOKIO HOTEL'S "THE BEST LIVE BAND"

The German teen band Tokio Hotel has won a MTV Europe Music Award in the category "Best Live Band.

"We are so happy, it is nuts", tells singer Bill kaulitz (19) at the awardshow in Liverpool. "You are awesome!"

Tokio Hotel was in the category "Headliner" as best live act on a festival or on tour up against bands such as, Metallica, Foo Fighters and The Cure and pulled through. The Magdeburger band ("Durch den monsun") is also nominated in another category as "Best act ever". The MTV Europe Music Awards are being given out for the 15th.
